​Here for the Rain, Here for the Storm is an exhibition exploring fantasy as a way to connect with stories of dissent against discriminatory social constructs; and it does so with the works of artists: Diana Agunbiade-Kolawole, Blanca Gracia, Mary Maggic, Valeria Montti Colque, Rossana Mercado-Rojas, and Michelle Williams Gamaker. During the opening we will also have a performance with Valeria Montti Colque and Rossana Mercado-Rojas.

This fantasy adventure reclaims the role of marginalised stories by retelling two versions of The Thief of Bagdad, the silent black- and-white film from 1924, and the colour version from 1940.
