Keynote address at NIAS Wassenaar

Michelle Williams Gamaker gives the keynote presentation at Female Beauty Systems Throughout the Centuries, a symposium at NIAS in Wassenaar, Netherlands.

The talk is entitled The Cult of Beauty Revisited, and discusses beauty in the context of Madame B, a film adaptation of Madame Bovary for modern times made with Mieke Bal.
